almost christmas

there's the weather report this week... not so bad really... and it's hard to see but on christmas they're saying snow and rain.. wooo! picking up that shit sucks.. we have this crfappy frozen snow all over the place out here... the ice is super treacherous. lol.. after dropping off evan at daycare, i got stuck on her ice... her entire giant driveway was covered... thankfully melly came out and helped me push. jason said that when i went to pick up evan that matt was putting sand down... perhaps i preempted that move.. but melly siad she got stuck on the ice twice the other day... lol

so it's almost christmas. i find it hard to believe... and that this year has gone way too fast. they time flies when your having fun.. or i also find that it often flies as you get older. that's okay, it's all good. our christmas shopping is complete.. wait.. except i gotta buy a little $5 thing for teh gift swap at daycare tomorrow... i'll get soemthing later when i'm out. i need to get soemthing for said daycare provider too. something simple... perhaps a amaryllis or something. i don't know.. wait! a chia pet :) that's it... i'll get her one of those, but it'll be from evan of course...

we haven't put out any presents yet. we're afraid that evan may decide to open them all up, so we're waiting. evan got a bunch of books and clothes from us that we colelcted over the last 6 months... i htink we only got him like 2 small toys... oh well that's what other people are for.

we shipped out a box to my mom's with their stuff in it... only one gift is missing, and it's my nephew's... it's not done, and i'm almost positive his mom wouldn't appreciate a gift loaded with safety pins :) in the spirit of the season here's a picture of it, so you can atleast see what it looks like...
and for anyone we forgot to send a Christmas card... here's the photo from that too:

so that's it for this post i guess... not tha interesting, i apologize... but everyone out there i wish : Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukuh, happy yule, happy solstice, happy kwanzaa, happy new year, and any other holiday in the next couple weeks that i forgot... (i'm not afraid to say the C-word!)

holy cold!

i can't *believe* how cold it is right now... and it's not even offically winter yet... the weather guy this morning said it was like -2 out out... and the forecast doesnt look any better... the bitter cold is the one thing that sespise about about winter... the snow i like... i've always liked... mom and i made a killer snowman back in 97 during the blizzard on april fools day... i have a picture somewhere... it ended up taller than us... (not short jokes!) when i was a kid i used to wear glasses., and when i would go sledding across the street (we were definaly spoiled with that) i would put them in my pocket. well one time i couldn't find my glasses. i'm sure i wsa in trouble but honestly i can't remember... but i do remember finding them like 5 years later smooshed into the dirt on the side of the hill that faced our house. still intact, but the lens were scratched... not surprised due to all teh sledding that occured there. and the fact that we would go sledding until the sleds wouldn't go anymore... there would be to patches of snow left and we would go sledding... there would be more leaves than snow and we would be out there. that hill was great.. there were so many options gor snow paths, and we even created a few.

the best side of the hill was the most dangerous, and in order to sled safely here you couldn't sled alone, for teh street was at the bottom and across the street was the beach. one person would stand at the bottom of the hill to watch traffic. and the other wo9uld manage to climb to the top and finally make it after several attempts at falling down because the hill was steep. when ready adn traffic all clear the the traffic controller would give the go-ahead.. and off you went.. and unless you rolled off your sled at the bottom (there was a 5 ft strech before the road) you would cross the street and stop on the otehr side just shy of going in the water. lol... thank goodness for that pole and wire "fence" they had down there... it saved christine form swimming several times... defiantly good times...

there was one time christine and i walked the back way (through the woods and across cranberry bogs) to the golf course to go sledding.. see we didn't have cars or our liscenses so we had to walk, but we had snow tubes... and there was this great hill in there we had to go one.. it was proabably a good mile to get there... the slide downt he hill was priceless.. it's was amazing...

we're at the top.. christine goes first... weeeeee... it was so fast!!! sweet! so she's down there about 30 ft from the bottom of the hill laughing her head off... so i sit on my tube and shout "i'm coming down!".... she *tries* to get up.... she says "wait! it's all ice.. i can't get up" (or something like that) but it's too late i'm on my way. she's holding onto her tube, and i go flying straight into her... and we both go flying... how far i went i don't remember.. but i'm sure this is the *only* time this happened... it was hilaroius... we were both okay and laughing hysterically. after being able to catch our breaths from laughing we *tried* to get up.. we were stuck.. the ice seemed to streach way beyond where we ended up and i remember it took us a while and several times of falling down to get off the ice. it was good times... and one of the more enjoyable times i spent with my sister growing up... this memory has amazingly managed to stay in my brain all these years.. and many memories have slipped my mind.. but this one will stay.

i only now realize how spolied we were to have such great sleeding grounds across the street. we have no hills nearby for evan to go sledding on. the neighbor has a "slope" in her yard.. lol.. it's not even a hill... the nearest hill is at the school.. which we'd have to drive to.. when he's older though he'll be able to walk, so until then we're on a hunt for the best little hill to drive to....

hmmmm....

so after i put up my little map to keep track of people who visit my site.. i've discovered i have a lurker who live in the area of southern kansas.... it could be pan-handle OK i suppose.... but i don't think so

i'm just curious who else is out there...

how YOU doin'?

lets start this post on a "lighter" note... hahahaha... it' s hilarous... check it out... but only if you can handle sick humor...

i'm in the process of uploading some little videos from turkey day onto google... hopefully they'll be able to verify them in a timely manner unlike last time, so people can see my crazy, yet loveable family :) ok, so it's just babies, and my aunt jane playing evan... i don't know why but i often get her on video playing with the babies.... i think she's desperatly waiting for some grandbabies :)

evan's asleep in the car out in the driveway.. i can totally see him through the window... he's fine, and it's pretty warm out so i'm not worried.

so i found out today that i need to get my tooth pulled... bummer.. in all honesty, i'm not that upset, but just not looking forward to it... who looks forward to a tooth pulling anyway.. (mom, you don't count) it's just a baby tooth anyway.. it's not s'possed to last until the age of 25 anyhow.... it's a miracle it's lasted this long.. yeah.. i had to baby teeth that never got replaced with adult teeth when they were s'possed to... the other one got pulled out 2 years ago now, while i was pregnant in fact

it's great to hear from old friends again... a bunch of us old fogies from wareham high have signed up on myspace, and have been emailing back and forth... it's been fantastic getting back in touch aftger all these years... most of us have babies now, and it just reminds me how old and grown up we're all getting. don't get me wrong.. i love being all grown up with my own family and my own life, but there's nothing like talking with your old pals after years of losing touch, to catch up, to see who has babies, to see who's gay/lesbian (and there's quite a few!).. ya know.. to see how things are going.

life otherwise has been treating me well. we had a great thanksgiving at my aunt and uncles house.. i put up a few of the pictures and one of teh snow we had! i'm not talkin gflurries either... we had a down right snow storm... it's not even december yet!!! that's ok... as long as it's not bitter cold, it' ok... and as lond as i don't have to drive... it definately sucks to drive in snow, especially across our dear ol' state....

i must sign off now.. for dinner beckons...

what's this?? a blog with words in it?

hi all.. i'll admit i've been a lazy blogger the past several weeks. i'll apologize.. i've been hooked to chatting online... but that's another story.

can you believe that thanksgiving is less than 2 days...? not me.. can't wait really. i'll be seeing some family for the first time since my cousins wedding last summer... i'm very excited.. but i'm also very bummed that my family in florida can't make it up... but i'm not surprised either b/c the price of tickets has skyrocketed thanks to the fuel prices. some day we'll see thema again.. perhaps we'll make a road trip when evan is older.

i'd also like to wish myself a happy anniversary... i've been blogging for 1 year this month!! wow.. one year of my thoughts on the web.. and.. people read them. who knew that i was this interesting considering how much i ramble on about nothing.. often my life is duller than an episode of seinfeld... i love the show, don't get me wrong, but my days just aren't as funny as jerry's... it's just not, and i can't help it...

i'd talk about politics, but i don't know where to begin... i haven't really watched the news today or listened to the radio... but if your interested you can go to air america radio online...
they make some very good points.. but i must say, i'm biased, i'm liberal.

i did hear however that gm is laying off more workers... what are these people going to do with out the factory jobs there....that's just too many people in one area to find jobs that don't exist thanks to mr. bush. i'm very glad i don't live there b/c life is going to royally suck for these people in no time. did any of you guys ever see roger & me.. i watched in a politics class i took in college for a gen ed.. it was amazing.. and quite scary.. it was a michael moore film, and we all know how he likes to expose crappy people and their nastiness to the public.

i'm not sure what to say now.. i think i must be done. i'm sure i'll have soemthing interesting to say after thanksgiving.. until then

this was too funny not to share with all of you.

08 November 2005

oh the joys of home ownership

ugh... look at all these leaves! and look how much more still have to come down.... th epictures don't do it justice... atleast the front yeard is very much done thanks the pumpkin trashbags for halloween...oh and raking them onto the garden for the winter. they make great compost for the garden... atleast this year i had a garden in the back yard i can cover up. sweet... less lifting barrells of leaves over the fence behind teh shed like we did last year evan is alseep in the car now would be a great time to work on those leaves... which i will i swear.... once i finish looking at blogs..... right.... i can make that last forever. atleast it's not raining.. and thankfully we live in
a area that is not prone to tornadoes.. the poor midwest... they were sleeping... so sad.

06 November 2005

birthday photos!

here are the pictures from evan's party today. brace yourself there are quite a few in the post.

caitlin the lady bug. she was very cute. i think i spelt her name wrong... sorry about that paula

here's evan in the costume that i made... of course he's not wearing the hood and hat which would help in his look to be a scarecrow.

miss ladybug want to play with teh new play-doh set! who doesn't!

Geramy is the cow and Isaac is the bee... they were mesmerized by the baby einstein video evan turned on.. that's right folks, he knows how all by himself!

me helping with "pin the leaf to the tree"... the got colored blue. it was supposed to be pin teh stem on the pumpkin, but seeing as how halloween has passed.. i changed the game a bit. the only dry leaves were teh ones that were stranded on the front porch.

here's all the kids in one shot

cutie pa-tootie geramy

the zombie Isaac.

the zombie Geramy

geramy again.

poor isaac was glued to the video. lol it was very cute

i do have more pictures, but these were the best ones. i'm sure we'll have more from his family party next weekend, and then geramy's party the weekend after that.

05 November 2005

favorite foods

evan's favorite foods this week are apple sauce and scrambled eggs... that's pretty much all he's eaten in a few days.... needless to say he's been filling his diaper pretty regularly.

a quick blurb

so evan's party is tomorrow... i hope it'll be fun, and i surely hope that evan will where his costume! i haven't pushed it all this week hoping that i can get him in it for his party. he is feeling 100% better again, thank God. nothing like dealing with a sick kid.

our loud neighbors have been cleaning out the garage for the past few days making all sorts of noise and being obnoxious. what else is new.

i've created a page on myspace recently so i could read janelle's other blog and discovered a bunch of old classmates there so i've been glued to my machine waiting for responses to my messages. this has made me very excited. i miss all my old friends.

that's it for now we have to figure out dinner

01 November 2005

i need...

here is something i did for janell's blog, but recently saw herb do it too, so i'm posting my results here so others can do the assignment too.

here it is... go to google.com and type in "your name needs" only actually use your name and don't forget the quotes. then post your favorite 5 things that come up.

here are mine, as previously found for janelle's assignment:

1. Erica needs her family, and her family needs her.

2. Erica needs a nip (lol)

3. Erica needs to travel to England to recover gold owed her
family and restore the family's good name.

4.Erica needs to get up and have a stretch during class if she's sore, or uncomfortable etc ...

5.Erica needs wool pants

most of the comments with my name were refering to the character on AMC. but an entertaining hunt nonetheless.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

evan update...
he's still sick, and wanted nothing to do with halloween.. what a bummer. i atleast wanted to take him around the neighborhood, but i couldn't evan get him to touch his costume, let alone put it on... that's it, next year i'll just buy him one, and if he won't wear it, that's ok, atleast i din't put a bunch of hours into making it.

anyhow.. i'm hoping evan doesn't have some sinus infection or anything... he's not vomiting anymore, thank God, and no longer has a fever, thank God, however we are having some serious issues with the leakage of is sinuses! they won't stop.. and it's the gross icky yellow boogies too, which just makes it more yucky. poor kid, he' having a hard time sleeping b/c of it.

but other than that things are going well.. it looks like he'll be well enough for is party on sunday... i was bummed that i had to rescedule it, but i didn't want to get the other kids sick. and he was just miserable, and frankly looked like crap. i have an easy week for work.. can't complain, and thankfully it was the week he's sick...i'm hoping he's feeling better for next week... it's such a pain to have to reschedule appointments, but atleast my number of clients has shrunken to the point that my schedule is longer booked solid with no room for rescheduling...

i'm signing off, b/c evan keeps stirring, and at some point eill need me to wipe his nose.

30 October 2005

yuck and even more yuck

can it be? is really only quarter to 2 ugh.. this day is dragging... mostly i think b/c instead of hustling and bustling around to get the party together, we've canceled it b/c evan is too sick.. his temperment has been like a roller coaster the past 2 days.. and of course he only wants his mommy... so i htink i've gone trough a weeks worth of shirts in 2 days. between the drool, boogies and throw up i really don't have much of a choice. he goes from yucky, to happy, to tired and yucky, happy... you get the idea. atleast he's not throwing up anymore! now he just has sinus issues and a low grade fever... last night it went to almost 102. eep! poor kid. i think this is his worst sickness yet.

i've rescheduled his party for next sunday, so we can only hope he'll be feeling more like himself by then.

well atleast it hasn't snowed here yet!

i spent a bunch of time working on evan's costume over the past 2 months, and now he probably won't even wear it.. if he'll wear the shirt and pants for trick or treating.. i'll be happy.. even if it mean we only hand out candy.. i was atleast hoping to go around the neighborhood.

happy halloween

my gooberness amazes me... this is the third time i've edited this post b/c i wanted to add one more thing... so here goes: i hate the time change.. adjusting is a pain in the ass an di know that's one of the reasons why the day is dragging so badly today.

there.. . that's it, really.

29 October 2005

oh the joys

evan's been sick today... not the entire day, but last night he got sick a few times.. i think it was the pizza. he spent some time this morning miserable as well, but was feeling better after some time and some plain toast and water. i think the tylenol helped too. he's fighting every medicine we have except the baby gas medicine... i think it did help settle his stomach... but i know he just likes the taste of it... he won't even take chewable tylenol.. i used to love that stuff when i was a kid. the red ones... too bad at brooks the meltaways by tylenol only come in grape... they don't taste bad or anything... he just doesn't like medicine except the gas medicine... and i've determined that you've got to really love someone to let them throw up one you, not only once, but a few times b/c they don't know what to do with themselves... after a little thinking after that moment.. you must really love someone more to let them throw up on you when they're drunk... hopefully that doesn't happen and they can make it to the bathroom. but haven't you noticed that the ony people "allowed" to throw up on other people are babies, and young children. i'd go as far to say there's less volume.. but c'mon that's not really true.. anyone who'se been around a newborn and attest to that... there can be alot of volume out of someone less then 2 feet tall... it's amazing. sorry to gross you all out.

he's sleeping again right now... he was just starting to get cranky again. i think the tylenol is wearing off, but when i put it in his mouth he just pushes it out and screams or let it drip out and screams or doesn't swallow it and screams... so we'll just let him sleep.. it's naptime anyhow.

evan's party is tomorrow, and i think he'll be fine by the afternoon. if he gets sick again i'll have to cancel it :( and i don't want to do that.

are my readers being lazy and not posting any comments, or haven't i had any readers? i can't tell, and may of you don't seem to be posting either, i know you're all busy and i only work three days a week... no excuses for me i guess.

i should be doig the dishes and cleaning the house... note what i'm doing instead.

ok.. i think i'm done now.

27 October 2005

that's retarded

i just discovered that i can't view any of my previous posts that were associated with my previous template... grr...

oops

i managed somehow last night while updating, to delete half of the HTML code while updated links.. the internet was being slow and i probably hit the save button too many times and probably closed the window after 5 minutes of waiting. if you had a link onmy page andi didn't put it back in the list... it's not because i don't like you, it's b/c i'm a goober and forgot what your address was...

don't forget to turns your clocks back on saturday night!

26 October 2005

what great weather we've had...

this october pretty has sucked in the way of weather... mother nature is giving us a break by finally giving us some good weather this weekend. i'm very excited! mainly b/c i'm having a halloween party for my son on sunday afternoon, and not only will it be sunny.. they're saying it'll be 60! score! i just hope the party will be fun.. it'll only be kids and moms probably. the family party will be on the 12th... i haven't sent out invites yet, however i did discover that there's a baby einstein theme out there for parties! if you know my son, you know that he LOVES baby einstein... he's so funny... we got the birthday express catalog in the mail a couple of weeks ago, and he just stares and examines the little baby einstein section. it's very cute.

so i had lunch on tues with a friend whom i hadn't seen in 8.5 years.. holy cow, it sure didn't seem that long ago when we saw each other last. i had a great time... we caught up on old classmates... well ones that we remembered.. and bitched about our families and drove in severly crappy weather... which i might add, janelle, was no where to be seen when i hit the Pike. lol. of course not.

living out here and not being close to my old stomping grounds over the past 8 years has left me feeling disconnected from my old life and friends. everyone went their ways and lost touch from me. i'm anxiously awaiting my high school reunion. seeing what everyone's upto and seeing who has kids and married old classmates and stuff, some of which i learned on tues! i can't wait to see more of my old friends!

i'm drawing a mind blank.. i lost my train of thought. i'm not surprised

enjoy the awesome weather this weekend... quick before it runs away!

here's a video from april... very cute one

auntie goes boom

here's a video from our recent trip to the cape :)

Interstate Love Song

well not really, it's neither interstate nor love, but it involves the highway and creepy people, so it fits. (and is a very good song written by stone temple pilots....)

many of you know that for my job i drive... alot... and often clear across the state (i'm on the eastside, i'm the west side.. it's not that big..(obscure reference to robinhood men in tights)) and on occasion i come across creepy men who are also driving... this has happened to me twice in my experiences of this job which i''ve had for almost 2 years now, and both of these times occured this summer. this past wednesday was one of these days. i'm driving along route 2 in the left hand lane, and on the right left is a trailor truck passing me. fine. i notice that he starting at me, and continues to do so as i drive by. not fine. i go in front of him onthe right b/c that's what you do when there's a clear strech of road.. you move over. fine. i notice the same fellow get into the left land and slowly pass me, while the entire time he's staring at me, and then when he can no longer turn his head he uses his mirrors. not fine. at this time i tell myself to ignore him.. whatever... at this point i get stuck behind someone going the speed limit.. 55... yeah it stinks..

so i go into the left lane behind said creepy man. fine. i look up into his rearview mirror (he was pulling an empty flatbed and thus had a rear window) and see that he's still looking at me. not fine. giving me the willies in fact. after passing the slow person he pulls off to the right and i attempt to pass him going 75 or so praying that i don't get pulled over but also thinking i had a good excuse... not too worried. so i'm speeding, and he's keeping up with me looking in at me the whole time, and i think he even pulled the airhorn a couple of times, but thankfully WAAF was on, and i was almost oblivious thanks to good rock music.

then i speed up more thank god there were only a few poeple on the highway that day.. and finally i pass the creep going 80 (eep!) on route 2. let me tell you it feels good leaving him in the wind behind a slow person, and knowing that his truck will have a hard time doing that on route 2! i didn't see him again. no loss really.. atleast he didn't try and signal me into the rest area like the sketchy black dude in a beater earlier that summer.

how often to men attempt to pick up women on the highway..? perhaps it was b/c i was driving a big white suburban the the state seal on it, and state plates.

do these guys think i'm stupid... not only am i not stupid enough to interact with these creeps, but I'M WORKING! i have to be somewhere and i have appointments to keep.

and honestly do i look like a hooker? besides i'm happily married with a family and i'm just not going to that.. although if i were my friend janelle from high school she would have.. she's just like that (and let me just clarify this is NOT the same janelle of "meanderings of a weary mind" there were 2 janelles at my school).

the one thing i'll say about the highways in massachusetts is that there are 2 seasons: plowing season and construction season.. either way it's hard to avoid being held up

enjoy you weekend, guys... we're off to the cape as of tomorrow when jasy done teaching. woo hoo! one of our good friends got a job in falmouth and is living in pocasset! we have a free place to stay! well atleast until april when his job should be done, in theory. i'll be back on sunday, and probably driven mad b/c i won't be able to get my blog fix.. it's getting bad.. atleast 10 times a day i'm looking at the blogs i visit, looking for updates and comments and whatnot. it's omething to do when i get bored, often doesn't take long, and well i bored alot, and unfortunatly so doesn't my son... it's been a long week. fortunately his birthday is coming up and christmas so we'll have new toys (hopefully) to keep us busy while it snows out.

wow, that was a long post

16 October 2005

helmet head

here's one of the latest obsessions of my almost 2-year-old.. we went to a birthday party for his friend maddy on saturday.. he wore his helmet all day.. even had to fight for him to take it off to go to bed... last night he wanted to wear his sneakers to bed, and he was screaming bloody murder over it... his sneakers are kinda clunky so it just wouldn't be comfy.... i sent jay upstairs to get the slippers we got him for christmas... he was happy, and then today, he insisted on wearing those instead of his sneaks! his slippers have a rubber sole so atleast he could wear them outside with no problem! the next year is going to be "fun" i can sense it. lol

11 October 2005

oops, i did it again...

i've managed to misplace my cell phone again, so if you need me you better call the house. i had it weds, and can't recall when i used it last... oops so if you called over the weekend and i didn't get back, i'm sorry... but i'm blonde...

the rhine stone cowboy...

here's a recent picture of evan on his new horse that he got from one of jason's collegues!

i recently discovered that verizon offers a slow dsl up 768K for only $15 a month.... we switched.. saving our selves $20 a month for internet... the fast DSL was up to 3mb, but we rearly got over 1mb, so this dsl isn't much different, it saves us money and doesn't tie up the phone line!

success!

i'm a master mom! my first attempt at homemade play-doh was a success! i'm very proud of myself. somehow i thought i'd screw it up, but i didn't. we have alovely wad of green stuff that tastes like salt in a tupperware now.. evan and i had a good time with it and some cookie cutters for a good 15 minutes atleast. now what? now he' sleeping on the couch. we ran a couple of errands this morning for fabric for his halloween costume.. just needed one more thing, and some laundry detergent and conditioner thanks to family dollar for not ripping us off. all free & clear there is only $4.50! comparitively at stop & shop the same bottle is $6.99! and fructis shampoo and conditioner is only $3 there too.. we just switched brands a couple of months ago. fructis is alto $3 at wal-mart (won't shop there until they give their employees lunch) and at target, however both locations are over 1/2 hour away no matter which one you go to. there are atleast 3 wal-marts equi-distant from our house and only one target down in hadley. a target is s'posed to be coming to greenfield in the near future. it would be nice if we had stores open past 5:30 on any given day. the only htings open are the pharamacies, and CVS is a rip-off too.. it's amazing what these places can get away with when there's no monster chain store nearby to drive prices down.

real estate class is going well. i'm very excited for my possible new career.. altho i hear it's expensive to get into with all the dues you have to pay..

how many of you live next door to the neighborhood gossip and drama queen. ya know, linda's nice and all, but she's such the drama queen! very emotional and over-exxaggerates everything. it can be very obnoxious, but i'm polite none the less.. she is our neighbor after all...
she takes care of her 4 year-old grand daughter, and linda's son is visitng with cecil. that's fine. he just went for a bike ride with her in one of those seat things that attaches to the bike so the kid has to stare at the parents ass.. (that's right we have one too... it was free from a client) well anyway.. poor cecil apparantly doesn't have a helmet. now i know we didn't grow up with helmets and of course i still don't own one, however a small child on the back of an adults bike they have no control of (except to throw off the balance) should have a helmet.. besides it's the law that all kids under 12 have to wear one. they're not terribly expensive, and i know they're not poor. there's no reason why this girl shouldn't have one... oh well.

tyler is on his way to woods hole to look at apartments for his job that starts tuesday. poor tyler.. that's a long drive there and back for one day. might as well drive to niagara falls! not much further! hopefully he finds something soon. he only found out 2 weeks ago that he got this job, so it's not like he's being lazy about looking for places...

i have a 5-day weekend! score! and i think we're going to go to the movies on monday on our day off! we plan on seeing serenity, and from what i hear mom, it's a very good movie :)

serenity

in honor of Serenity being released today.... and me not seeing it....

You scored as Hoban 'Wash' Washburne. The Pilot. You are a leaf on the wind, see how you soar. You have a good job, and a stunning wife who loves you (and can kill people). Life is good, which is why you can't help smiling. Now if you can just get people to actually listen to your opinion things would be perfect.

i'm obsessed with talking about my kid

i can't help it, he's super cute, except when he's tired and cranky, but that doesn't happen too often. when this is the case he often wants boob. last night he screamed bloody murder for about 15 minutes flailing all over the place b/c he woke up and he wanted some boob and i wouldn't give him any... that's right folks, we're still boobin' as i call it... even says "boo" lol... at some point while boobin' i said "honestly evan... how many guys get as much boob as you and still complain they can't get enough?" tyler and trev laughed. it was funny...

here are a few pictures of evan 2 nights ago... it's been chilly at nighttime around here, so after his bath i put in him is footy pj's that i bought last winter b/c the 2T's were too small.. these are the 3T's, and i'm telling you that they won't last the whole winter.. gerber clothes if ind tend to run small... well at least their pj's, thermal underwear and long john's... b/c last winter when evan was wearing the 2T i had to buy 3T b/c his stomach was hanging out of the shirts.. lol
let's remind everyone that evan isn't even 2 years old and is comfortable wearing size 3T (which is intended for 3 year-old toddlers) he can still wear his 2T's though which is good, but if anyone is planning on clothes for gifts for eith birthday or christmas... 3T is the way to go.

the night i put evan in these pj's i went to herb's blog and read that he was sweating bullets.. ha ha ha.. usually chicago is colder than us! altho i hear we're in for a bad winter... great...

the second picture here came out well.. until i noticed jason yawning in the back... oh well. and the 3rd picture is good too, if you like looking at people who roll their eyes.. well evan looked cute anyhow. i accidentally just deleted the picture, so now i have to wait for it to upload again.

while at a clients house today i was talking about how i need more shoes and how a gay guy in chicago has more shoes than me... he laughed... my client said that if he could he would have tons of shoes too... he is also gay. :) of course i knew that, but it was funny.

it's dinner time now, so i'm signing off!
